Counseling on 19th July 2011 at School Of
Engineering, Jaipur, RAJASTHAN
· The counseling for MU Jaipur will be conducted at Vatika Infotech City, Jaipur which is open for the students who have MU-OET(ENAT)-2011 rank
· The documents to be brought to the venue during counseling for General category as follows.
» SSC or 10th Marks card.
» 12th Marks card
» Transfer certificate or School/College Leaving certificate issued by School/College. No other certificate in lieu of this will be accepted
» Conduct/Character certificate to be obtained on School/College letter head/pad. No other certificate in lieu of this will be accepted
» Two recent and identical passport size photographs
» e-Hall Ticket
» Two sets of photocopies of all the above documents
» Academic Fees to be paid by a single Demand Draft drawn in favor of Manipal University Jaipur,Payable at Jaipur at the time of counseling. Separate Demand Draft to be made for the Hostel fees.
· Once the admission is confirmed and the process is completed, you will be receiving a mail regarding the Orientation day at Jaipur (Tentatively on Aug 17 2011).
· AIEEE ranking counseling will be considered for vacant seats after MU-OET (ENAT) counseling.

KINDLY REGISTER FOR PARTICIPATING IN THE COUNSELING at Jaipur, THROUGH AN EMAIL TO on or before 12th July 2011: admissions.miuj@manipal.edu (Note:Only registered candidates will be considered for the counseling, and the counselling process will be according to the ranks obtained)
Fee Structure:
Academic Fee : Rs. 1,55,000/- per annum.
Hostel Fees: Rs. 25,000/- first year (Mess fees extra)
» Academic Fees to be paid by a single Demand Draft drawn in favor of Manipal University Jaipur,Payable at Jaipur at the time of counseling. Separate Demand Draft to be made for the Hostel fees.
» As per the norm followed, fee paid at the time of admission is applicable for all the 4 yrs of study.
» Annual fee has to be paid at the start of every academic year.
» Hostel Fee: Rs. 25,000/- per annum excluding mess.
» The above fee is applicable for the temporary accommodation and may change when we move into the permanent location.
» Mess Fee: Extra at actuals.
Hostels:
Students will be accommodated, with twin sharing basis, in hired 3 bed room flats, at Vatika Infotech City during the first year at the temporary campus.
Separate accommodation for boys and girls will be arranged.
Placement:
» The placement process starts in Aug 2014(for the students admitted in July 2011) by which sufficient infrastructure and industry contacts would have been developed within the permanent campus.
» The placement cell will be instituted as soon as the permanent building is fully operational.
» MIT Manipal and Sikkim MIT (SMIT) have good Industry – Institute relationship which has grown over the years.
Campus:
» MIUJ will be operating from a temporary campus for the first year.
» The construction activity at the permanent campus will be starting shortly. All infrastructure needs of the second year will be ready before the start of next academic year.
· Library and internet connectivity, which is an immediate requirement for any student studying in Engineering stream these days – interiors of temporary Library space is under construction, books procurement is being processed, internet connectivity would be installed well before classes beginning from 17th Aug. 2011.
· Laboratory for practicals in first year – laboratories for first year would include physics, chemistry, computers & workshop practice. The minimum requirements for conduct of laboratory classes will be kept ready within 17th Aug 2011.
· Contingency plan if the required infrastructure as per the requirement for second year course content is not ready on time – we have planned for constructions (tendering process completed) keeping in view the first and second year requirements and as such do not expect any delay.
Recognition:
» The University is being setup on the invitation of the Govt. of Rajasthan
» The process of seeking the approval from the competent authorities has already begun and will be obtained.
